#BuzzOut Website: FireBz.com. "3 year pattern that needed to be addressed" R Wellman

That was such utter nonsense, because he has a terrible postseason record in college.

Just one more week and some change with him as our coach. (I hope)

Holy moly, this might be the most Jeff [Redacted] quote of all time...

(From today's post-game transcript):

We can play with anybody in the country. But we've had some moments, and a lot of that is youth. I'm not going to use that as an excuse, but I think if you compare our freshmen to other freshmen around the country, and especially with the amount of freshmen that we do have, our freshmen are playing a lot of minutes.

We're just 39 points away from being 3-4 against them.

Just like a W is a W, an L is an L. At the end of the day, we're 0-6 against Maryland under Jeff [Redacted].

He was making a #[Redacted]'d reference (stemming from his quote last year about (paraphrased) 'if you took away NC State's runs, we'd have tied them')...

Also, WF is 0-6 vs Maryland under [Redacted]. The 7th loss was a 14-point loss while he was coaching UMBC in 1987. Sadly, it doesn't negatively effect his winning percentage and it actually helps his average scoring margin against Maryland.

MTOW posted a short time ago...note that all of Dan's quotes are from the players and no Buzz....When Skip & Dino were in charge, Dan always relied on their insight.

I found this quote from Devin to be interesting:

"Madison does a great job – not to take anything away from Codi – getting us into the offense,'' Thomas said. "He does it all the time in practice. He looks to get people shots rather than him getting his own shot, which is helpful a lot – especially when the starting five comes out.

"Because C.J. is a scorer, (Arnaud Adala) Moto can score and Travis can score. He gets us out in transition, that’s a big key. We got off to a great start against N.C.State too. So I think it’s all Madison.''

Can't CMM and Madison play together next year? CMM could play the two, couldn't he?

Pretty solid #[Redacted]'d for somebody with 6 posts, do I sense a long-time lurker?

Yep, long time lurker. Wake grad who's had enough.

I study the different dialects of Bzzinnese. It's a bit like Klingon.

I am conversant in "OMG you would have totally run Coach K out on rails and they are exactly the same even though K was like 30 in his sixth season and Bzz is like 60 in his 537th season and K can coach and Buzz can not coach but otherwise they are freaking dopplegangers"

and

"Well at first it wasn't about culture, it was about performance. Especially in February and March. Even though Bzz did worse than Dino objectively. Because it wouldn't have been cool or appropriate to bring up culture. Until Bzz regressed to his mean (double point score for overused and misused sports phrase of the day). And then it's all about culture. CULTURECULTURECULTURE. Yahtzee, uno, bingo, game over. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear. Inevitable."

Probably unless Green steps it up or Overton is way better than everyone thinks. Of course that also assumes those guys are all going to be here.
