BZZ Out Rumor

If more of your kind were like you, I would not have a problem with yankees. Unfortunately, you seem to be one of the very few that do not want the South to be just like New York.
This. This is fucking stupid.

Is that the year or estimate of overall wins next season?

We have to realize and accept that [Redacted] IS going to be here at least another year. I feel ill typing that but it's just the way it is.

DG doesn't have sources. He was wrong so many times about the UNC Investigation based on his "sources"...

Not going to harp on any North vs. South brigades... but Wake does need to start accepting more NC and local Winston-Salem kids. That's one of the main things that make our student support so pathetic... they have no history or idea of who Wake is as an athletics program. No respect for the conference, programs, history, or even the athletes from fellow students. The BEST student support we get is from OTHER ATHLETES or the THEATER department. We have kids walking around campus routinely in their South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida State sweatshirts and hats.

So in all.. we need more NC and local kids. Of my graduating class in 2009 here in Winston-Salem, I was the ONLY one to attend Mother So Dear. That's not right.

Likelihood to support athletics should not factor one bit into admissions decisions.

how in the fuck can they be this way? know I'm beating a dead horse but what in the hell do they see to make them "overwhelmingly" in favor of having him stick around to ruin another season?

Wake is a national school. Admission should not take into account anything relating to a student's geography. It's a concern for public/state schools.

I can't tell if this is a real post or not. If it's real, then no. Wake is not a state school, and there is no reason to give anyone who merely lives nearby any preference just for potential athletic support.

It was worse in the 90's. Nobody even wore Wake colors to basketball games. The Screamin Deacons were referred to as the Screamin Semens and had horrible black t-shirts with just the Deacon head logo on them. At that time, over 40% of the student body was from NC. Nobody ever went in to the football games. Tailgated, went home, watched an SEC game and checked the radio or the 1990's shit internet for the Wake score.
