Agree, he has no idea who he is dealing with -- and we still haven't brought our full fundraising/web design/print ad purchasing force to bear yet. Count on an indictment Tuesday afternoon, he'll cut a deal no later than Thursday if he values his colon.

What time is our lawyer filing the complaints tomorrow? We should think about alerting the media. This is a big deal. That guy Emmett Bremen or whatever his name is on ESPN Page 2 might even tweet about it. A TWEET guys. That's big. Huge.

I'm in Raleigh with a bunch of ITK poster's uncles now going over the paperwork. There's already a small group of reporters waiting to speak with us outside the hotel suite.

WARNING - the money men are pushing hard for the billboard to go up ASAP. It opens a second front on Wellman and might force a quick settlement.

I thought rep was supposed to keep the pissing contests off the threads. This thread isn't about you or me. But, if you want it out in the open, you've said some crass things (Down Syndrome, whatever was edited out and some I don't care to repeat) about Wake fans that weren't attacking you. I strongly disagree with Braces' position on the current state of things. However, I thought what you said about her was inappropriate and hateful. Hence, neg rep. You don't have to call every person you disagree with a vulgar name or declare them as having Down Syndrome.
You are whining. If you just wanted to know who I am, there is a PM feature that would have met that aim.

The attempts at humor have been getting cringe-worthy. Repetition kills.
 
Too many Gaudio references in the ads..Buzz's suckitude should stand on its own without the clutter of the previous coach..This is about how Buzz is an awful coach, the numbers are the numbers.
 
So what is Wellman's next step? My guess is he shuts up and ignores Buzzout by holding up in his bunker. This strategy will most likely be successful unless pressure for Buzzout builds from continued pressure from the media. BOT may act if pressured by peers as well.

I also believe there is too much parsing of Wellman's words. AD's talk "spin." They do not tell you what they are thinking or why they made decisions. Winning the debate does not equate to success for Buzzout.

The Stratts and vtwhat understand that Buzzout is a marketing campaign. They are using facts to sway perception.

Excerpt:

Dino Gaudio was head coach the last time Wake Forest basketball was relevant. Contrary to what Ron Wellman and Jeff [Redacted] would like for you to believe, outside of Wake Forest fans Dino Gaudio's name name does not carry a negative connotation (especially along with the words 'bad culture', etc). What I've gathered in my time of spreading this information beyond the WF fan-base is: people that are unfamiliar with [Redacted] (which they tend to be, because of the aforementioned relevancy issue), are more comfortable assessing his performance negatively when they can match it against something they can easily recall. Putting [Redacted]'s numbers beside Gaudio's (who I do not think the average ACC fan would consider a 'good coach'), makes [Redacted] look atrocious to the average person reading today's sports section in the most efficient way I could think of.

Again, today's ad is aimed more outside than inside.

I love it anyway dude, great job. I just think Bz's ineptitude stands on its own. Gaudio's firing was a clusterfuck that confuses this message at this particular time.

I think the comparison with Dino shows the absolute hypocrisy of Wellman.
