LOCK, DELETE.

Fun facts - Carlos Marmol is the Cubs career leader in Holds with 77. Never knew that. Also has the most K's of all relievers since 2007 with 612.

Someone should really scoop him up, he's a find.

Here's a prop bet:

Phillies More:

Ks by Ryan Howard
Errors

Howard has average about 172 Ks over the past three full seasons.

For those that are interested in this thing for whatever reason:

As we all know, usually the Super Bowl winner hosts the Thursday night game to start the NFL season. However, the Orioles have a home game scheduled against the White Sox that evening to start off a four-game series. Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium share parking lots, staff, etc. The Orioles are @ Cleveland Wednesday night while the White Sox are @ NYY Wednesday night and a day game on Thursday would go against MLBPA stuff. So basically the NFL and MLB are currently at a statemate about the issue.

Here's an editoral on a radio station's website that's historically much more pro-Ravens and anti-Angelos: http://wnst.net/top-story/crabs-n-beer/the-nfls-scheduling-problem-isnt-the-orioles-scheduling-problem/

fuck the NFL. They made the Bucs open in Philly after we won the 'ship. Luckily that made sure that the last game at the vet and first game at the linc were Bucs wins

It only gets scored an error if the guy gets close enough to field it, so the Phils should be able to avoid plenty this season!

They are making a bunch in FL. Dom and Howard went deep today.

Is Dom roiding or what?

Looks like his is just finally playing to his potential - dude was a top 10 prospect for a couple of years and touted as a 5 tool player.

Having said that, I think I would laugh if he starts in AAA (or goes down) to make space for Delmon Young

Baseball has more of the "light going on" than any other sport. Probably because it's the toughest sport to master.

The light just seems to have gone on for Dom.

He's also hitting off of guys that will be bagging groceries in a couple of weeks, so theres that too.

Sending Ruf to Lehigh Valley and Betancourt to.... wherever.... should help!

Hush!

(Also, someone, I think Keith Law, noted when Dom broke his hamate bone that it takes 12-24 months to recover power from a hamate injury. We're at 24 months now. Hopefully the power surge mans that he's healthy and has his power back. But it's only spring training, so the usual grain of salt disclaimer applies.)

Meet your (most likely) opening day starters for the Cubs!

DeJesus CF
Castro SS
Rizzo 1B
Soriano RF
Schierholtz LF
Castillo C
Valbuena 3B
Barney 2B
Shark P

A powerhouse lineup. 2.5-3 runs per game seems about right.

Cubs continue to pick up ex-Epstein/Hoyer picks trading for some Padres A ball OF/1B named Jose Dore - was an 8th round pick from 2010.
