Enfield to Southern Cal

Welcome to the FAM!!! JT, Ari, and I can't wait till you and Mrs. Enfield arrive in LA!
 
Anybody who thinks Wake is luring Mrs. Enfield from southern California is kidding themselves.
 
USC gets Enfield, Texas Tech gets Tubby and we're still stuck with Buzz!

I don't think 10m would get Enfield to W-S instead of LA.
 
I'd make a small wager that Enfield is only in South Central until F$U opens up.

Why do you think he would want to go to FSU from USC? They're both very similar - both football schools where basketball is a distant 2nd. I think there's greater potential to build a strong program at USC actually.

I get that Enfield started his college coaching career at FSU but its not like FSU is alma mater or anything

Exactly. What I find the most intriguing about this offseason is that (arguably) all of Wake's top targets either (i) took themselves out of the discussion (Shaka, Stevens, Marshall (presumably)) or (ii) moved to jobs that I would consider a step up from WFU in its current state (Alford, Enfield). I guess you could argue that Wake>USC, but then again, if you were a young, energetic coach, would you rather rake in the AAU talent in SoCal or attend bible study classes with the Wellmans?

#WellmanOut first, #CurrieIn and then hire a new coach.

USC is where coaching careers go to die.
 
Who cares if he leaves USC, stays, or goes? Not coming to Winston. Would have been nice to see his wife in the stands. Hot chicks are friends with hot chicks. Models galore everywhere. Who knows, the Joel/Winston could have rivaled Hugh's Mansion in LA. Word on the street was their plan was to resurrect Freddie B's and turn it into a utopia with banging models, socialites, and high end call girls. A real sin-den. But hey, it's wasn't to be. Likely isn't the image Hatch wants. #Dork#loser
 
They are losing their top and fourth scorers. They are losing their only real PG.

I'll be interesting to see what he can do.
 
Yay! Fuck you Wellman, my hate for you and what you have done to our basketball program grows daily and our season has been over for weeks.
