Aerial banner at football game

We could just buy every screen of the digital billboard there on business 40 near Stratford. Each page would just be a different fact that shows how terrible Ron Wellman is at his job.

this would be fantastic... but i suspect there are not enough pages.
 
Sorry....I just think this banner thing is lame. It's just a Sportscenter item, a reality TV stunt, etc. It won't have nearly as much effect as another season of failure on the court. Eventually, if those of us who don't believe in Bz are proven right by the results, he'll be gone.
 
I don't think Wake fans truly realize how bad Wake athletics is right now. Something that pushes people out of their stupor is what we need.

If this is what we're going for, the banner should have a website on it that is mobile friendly. The goal would be for people to upon seeing it, go to the URL and easily receive our message. This is the best way for making this more than just a publicity stunt.

FireRonWellman.com can be used but the website would need to be altered to be very mobile friendly, with the landing page being the most important message while avoiding looking like the lunatic fringe propaganda. Assume most people looking at the website know very little about Ron Wellman or why people want him fired.

RSF says we have 2k left for the next billboard. What if we do a billboard near the stadium during football season and then raise money for one when Buzz begins tanking in Jan/Feb?

I have to admit that even I don't care nearly enough to keep donating money. They have worn me down and I'm teetering on apathy.

Wellman is too popular to advocate for firing him straight up. The fanbase just needs to be woken up. Any time I look at the actual stats, I realize things are even worse than I realize. From a national perspective, Grobe should be on the hot seat. Instead, most here probably think he doesn't need to have a winning season in the next two or three to keep his job.

Billboards in specific locations are pretty expensive, otherwise the last billboard would have been in a better location. Last I checked with RSF a billboard on 40 in Winston was out of the question.

This isn't it. Just a "cheap( not)" stunt. Seriously, what is expected? That IF is gets on Sportscenter or youtube a bunch of folks are gonna go camp out somewhere until Bz or Wellman is lynched? If serious folks are seriously gonna have leverage, it's with attendance and pocketbooks. Keep the chatter alive on the internet, let the performance on the court speak for itself. Regardless of how much we may like the current players, anybody with any sense knows it's a coaches AND players game. Until proven otherwise we don't have both. Wellman has drawn his line in the sand and won't budge until the results prove him wrong. Time will work this out I believe. Sad but that's it.

For the record, I don't want to have an affair with Mrs. Enfield. I just want my wife and I to be friends with Mr. and Mrs. Enfield and have cookouts together and speculate about future episodes of Breaking Bad and how Mad Men is going to end and watch each other's pets when we're on vacation. It is all very innocent.

You're throwing good money after bad. Bzz leaves when Wellman decides it's his time. Wellman leaves when Wellman wants to leave. It's just that simple. But I'm at the final stage of grief, so knock yourselves out.
