Alex Kinal - Punter

I bet his leg will fall off from all of the abuse.

Kinal isn't that bad. He generally gets the ball up in the air enough to force a fair catch, and is decent at getting shorter punts down inside the 20. He isn't consistent enough, and has trouble really nailing a long one when he needs to, but I don't think he is a liability. He just isn't Plack, either.

A. Kinal 9punts 344yds 38.2/punt 0tb 3 inside20 46long

none returned. he's not bad, and certainly not anything close to the problem with this team.

the A and M guy punted for the fifth time this season today

Kinal's leg is going to fall off.

I think he's pretty good he's asked to make a whole lot of crappy punts where a better team would've scored.

He's a good punter. He kicks the thing a mile in the air. TV doesn't do him justice. When he gets more experience and learns to control trajectory I think he's got a shot at playing Sundays. He hasn't been doing this very long.

dont think it is fair to call out the overused punter. our disaster of a team is not his fault.

No one's really calling him out...just saying he's an okay punter and he may set the NCAA record for punts. He doesn't control when he punts.

I'm thinking about tossing together a sign for homecoming with a KinalKount where the number of punts he has in his career is on a poster where it can be changed with each ensuing punt.

#kinalkount is on full blast. 31 punts through 4.5 games. On pace to shatter the career NCAA record for punts. It's really not even remotely close.

If he averages the same number of punts this year as he has through 4.5 games he will on pace to hit 355 punts based on his two year average (times two of course for four years). That's close to a punt a game over a career on the current record.

Where's he at now, numbers?

Is the Kinal Kount going to be a thing at the State game?

Shouldn't be too hard.

Throw a K up for every punt. Have a running count and the record.
