That's terrible. Has to be traumatic for your kid. I'd be concerned that the kid who did it has severe emotional problems. Does your kid not want to go back to that daycare? Being a parent would suck. So much to worry about.
 
Birdie's daycare is the one that lets the eat ranch dressing with vegetables right? Kids probably all hopped up on sugar.

Daycare people told us. She was in pretty good spirits by the time we got home. She got upset a couple of times randomly talking about it last night and apparently was a wreck this morning at daycare when my wife dropped her off. Hopefully she'll rally, she's a pretty tough gal.

I don't know much about the other kid other than his name is Tate and he's 4. Being a parent is awesome but there is a ton to worry about.

Nah, that was the last daycare. This one is much better about serving decent grub.
 
I would hope the people at the daycare told the other kid's parents that sort of behavior will not be tolerated and if their kid does something like that again he's out.

I hope so but I have no idea. They weren't even allowed to tell us who it was.
 
Kids are gonna be kids, to an extent... but the cornering aspect of it makes me really sad for the other kid. I hate to think what he may have seen to even think to do that.
 
Just tell her to pretend this kid is that guy's dog and kick the shit out of him.

actually, this makes sense... probably to keep parents from going after other parents.

Yep. I had plenty of parents in my programs that would not have surprised me if they whooped somebody else's kid's ass.
