The stupid spelling variations are the worst, for me. If you are going to give your kid a name that millions of other people already have, use the accepted spelling. Spelling it differently is not going to make it unique - just annoying... for the kid as he has to slowly spell his name twice for every person he ever encounters who needs his name for some official purpose, and for everyone else as they are embarassed after you correct them for misspelling your kid's name or as they struggle to get it right as your kid spells it for them.

So not only is the kid named after a period, his name also derives from a people that have been the English's bitches for centuries. Kid had no shot.

Tate, in the grand scheme of things, is not that bad. I'm more thinking of the Braxlee and Jayden and MaKayla and such.
I'm all for some boss middle names, but paired with something that can actually go on a resume and not look ridiculous for a 45yr old man.

I hate that shit. You might as well name those kids Trailerpark or Myparentsthoughttheywereclever or Mydaddrinkstoomuch
