And actually has information, all of which is untainted by LOWF myopia. OTP is like half of this board's worst nightmares.
 
I have no problems with OTP's info on BSU and Lembo. I think it's accurate, interesting, and helpful. It does seem like he has an understandable bias when making comparisons to Clawson and BG. The info about Lembo raising money from donors, not making excuses about recruiting, developing players with jobs, etc. have all been reported as things Clawson has done throughout his career. I certainly would prefer Lembo because he has had more consistent success, but portraying him as exponentially better than Clawson is just not being honest.

He prefers Lembo. He has been very up front about his bias, but has nevertheless communicated it as such on pretty much every occasion. Dude has as even defended #ClawsIn a few times. But you're asking him to provide reasons why he thinks that a guy that he doesn't prefer (or think, bias aside, is the best candidate on the basis of vision and performance) for a job is the ideal candidate for the job and I have no idea why.

In general, though, I guess that I don't know why you're hating on the only guy with decent information on here, even as you share his views (ie can't go wrong with either, but prefer Lembo).
 
For the dude who said BSU/ASU was statistically the same, we are 13th in the country at 40 and change a game. ASU is mid 60s at 29. 13th > 60th. If Pete leaves Skrosky will stay and we will thrash Arky State. It won't be over quick. It won't be pleasant. And they will not enjoy it.

Some people like different things. Some people like Mundy, some like us. Some people like BSD some like OTP. Some like Clawson, some like Lembo. Some like missionary some like chaining people to a wooden sailor's cross. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm not sure I'm hating on him, but if it seems that way, I'm sorry about that. Just trying to promote an open minded discussion.

While I will defer to your expert knowledge on the matter, is this really knobslobbing?

I just hate LOWF and will support anybody who is giving us information without the patronizing know-nothingism that we're accustomed to receiving in these situations. Having OTP on here just shows how much our mentality sucks when it comes to these matters, how small and self-defeating our vision as a program is (as viewed from the outside), and just how much the AD's ideology has seeped into the expectations of even really good posters.

OTP blogs about Ball State, for Christ's sake. MAC teams have higher standards than a program that won the ACC less than 10 years ago. No disrespect intended to either OTP or BSD, but that's fucking pitiful.

If this is what Hatch and Wellman intend for Wake athletics, then just dissolve the whole thing and focus on cracking the top-10 across the board in academic programs and facilities.

Nobody was really hating on him. Even if they were, he's a grown ass man and can fight his own fights (but there weren't really fights).

We all know your thoughts on LOWF. You don't really have to break it out in every single thread to remind us of it.
