BBall Recruiting Megathread 3.0 - The Manning era begins: The Harry Giles Chronicles

Bz could snag all four of them but he prefers going after less heralded players he can mold to fit his system.

Kwe Parker is the less highly regarded. The other part of the potential package deal is Dennis Smith, Jr who is a 5 star PG and being recruited by everyone. Those 2 and Giles along with Brandon Ingram would likely compete for a Natty. That would make up for the Ogden/Conley miss.

It makes too much sense to hire a man with a track record and personality to put together a sick class and win it all. Just too much sense.

In all seriousness, if we bring Bzzz back for four more years I think the program might not recover for 15-20 years.

If Bz is our coach next year, I will not watch a Wake Forest basketball game again until he is removed. Pretty much already there anyway.

wake would be mired in mediocrity for years to come... two years. then bzz would need to recruit a 10 man class to make up for the 8 that leave in one year. 3 years after that? NIT bound baby!

After 2016, when would we make another NCAAT? Probably not anytime soon with a team full of Ovaltines and Rondales.

Personally knowing Kwe and Dennis I am 100% positive they are going to the same college together. That said, I am sure nc state is their #1 choice.

Good to know. With all the local talent we need to land a big player from 2016 or we will be left behind. Bz level.

Like I said earlier, we need to try and get one of them, because the other will come along. Kwe has been dropping in the charts, while dennis has been moving up. They are still better than anyone we have gotten in the past few years.

The only positive with that is now you can park there for games if you don't have a pass.

Why the would you park there when the Joel is literally empty for 99% of home games under bz, with zero parking issues? Not to mention, you can park pretty much anywhere else closer in the unlikely event of a sell out. I haven't seen the Joel parking lot at capacity once this season.

The lot was packed for UNC, but I agree.

2017 Sanford (DE) G Eric Ayala is hearing from Villanova, Penn State, Rutgers, Wake Forest, and George Washington, he tells me.

Eric Ayala/2017/Sanford (Del.)
This 6-2 scoring combo guard is very skilled and can score in every way possible. He is almost impossible to keep out of the lane and can finish with either hand in traffic. He has displayed a very high basketball I.Q., and is always looking to make his teammates around him better. Ayala will need to continue to on getting stronger and developing a more consistent jump shot, but he has a tremendous future ahead of him. There isn’t much he can’t do at such an early age in his career. - http://cityofbasketballlove.com/2013/10/2013-pangos-all-east-froshsoph-camp/

Eric Ayala (2017/Sanford School, Del.)
Lots to like about this Delaware guard in my first time really focusing on him in game action. He’s already got a good size for a combo guard at 6-2, and his frame suggest he’ll add another inch or two before it’s all said and done. Ayala scored 16 points and won MVP honors for the victorious Black squad in the opener, showing off both his scoring and his passing ability in the win. On several occasions he got into the middle of the defense and either distributed or hit the mid-range jumper. - http://cityofbasketballlove.com/2013/10/2013-8eye-classic-notebook/

Do we ever offer anybody who is, like, you know, a power forward or center?
