What do you experts (and Charlotte residents) think about travel from Greensboro to Charlotte on Saturday? Going to see a show Saturday at 4pm, and dinner downtown afterwards. Will likely leave in the morning on Saturday (staying with parents) and come back Sunday.
now that the roads are clearing in charlotte, you should be good if you can get to 85. Charlotte main roads are reasonably clear now and definitely will be okay by Saturday night.
Drove into work in Charlotte around 7:45 this morning. Once you get to the main roads, you're fine. Everything else is sketchy. I was in a 5500 pound truck in 4wd, and it still bucked a time or two in the journey from my house until I got to 485
