Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

No fix, but the referee was horrible all night. The penalty was shocking, and I doubt he gets to ref again the rest of the tournament.

He might get another group stage match, but I doubt he gets the call for a knockout stage match.

Every time I want to give soccer another chance a game like Brazil happens. That was the equivalent of giving Wade 50 free throws for a successful flop.
 
Trust me DCD, anyone who has ever played the game was furious as well.

It does, just as flopping in NBA basketball does. Or ignoring the three second rule. Or gimmicks like moving the ball to the other side of the court upon calling timeout after inbounding the ball.
