Deacs vs ULM Game thread! 8/28/14 @ 7:00pm - ESPNU

The D was gassed on the last drive. I wonder what it would have been like if they weren't in "great shape"? The OL splits were too tight, just like the beginning of last year. The bright side is, I can see another 25 member recruiting class because some these underclassmen won't be with us next year as expected.
 
So lets completely write Clawson off based off of one game. Not like he's won at three schools or anything

Agree. O line was weak. They need to improve. Until then we need to set up more screen plays. Quick passes.

94 yards of total offense for the game. Ninety fucking four.
 
I knew we wouldn't be that great on offense but I never imagined that level of ineptitude. I'm not sure there's an offensive lineman on this team.
 
i am waiting on ph's reaction to the game and whether claws is on his hot seat

I'll jolly well write the season off, but not the Clawson era as a whole.
 
Optimistic view: If we can fix the O-line issue to allow Wolford to get at least one more second of time we could surprise some people. The D is not bad at all but they have to get some damn rest. I do like that we have a reliable TE with hands so that could stretch opponents Defense. Claws WILL get some talent here so we will just have to wait out the storm for another year.
 
The #hotsportstakes in this thread are a lot of fun. This will be a trolltastic season.

5 first downs and -3 yards rushing.....against shitty ULM. It's gonna be another long season.

Don't be discouraged, though. You can all start bitching about basketball again before too much longer.
