Is the argument that DHs shouldn't be paid much of anything? That definitely makes sense. In any event, a lot of guys on that list are making big bucks. Carter's arb years coming up look good by comparison.

dhs get massively overpaid in arb. and we're talking about a guy with essentially one hot half. i like the player and always have, but i just think he isn't that valuable. he'll be arb eligible next year after a 40 hr season. he's going to get paid.

Our starting pitching is absolute horse manure and half of our lineup is a black hole. Will be interesting to see what they do this offseason. Our farm system is looking overhyped and overrated right now. Looking forward to seeing Castillo for a few games though.

Hamelin and Rogers for the the last 2. Not even able to make a guess at the first one.

Clearly just slipped. Theyd been pitching him inside all series. So rough though. Brutal spot to get hit. Caught a ball right there in little league pitching, right off the bat and got ten stitches.

Wow. If my math is right that will be 17 regular season games and 8 postseason games.

I assume he couldn't string out an appeal until after the season ends. In which case it makes the most sense to just accept the penalty and hope to return late in the ALCS.

I think he can't return until the WS. He must be on the roster at the beginning of the series or he can't play in the ALCS. I would love to be wrong but that is my interpretation of the rule.
 
It'd be hard to throw a guy into the lineup after missing 25 games, too, especially when he's struggled making contact this year.
