State of the Union thread

He's a strong conservative that has a winning record in a liberal and unionized State that has beaten the Unions several times. Seems like a candidate that should be supported.

Wisconsin is purple. And I know about the run of Democrat wins in the Presidential races, but Wisconsin is not liberal by any stretch of the imagination. That's just false.

I prob make the mistake of thinking of Madison which is left of Stalin and over look the rest of the State, you're right.

Its sad to be proud of a small town girl who was elected to the Senate and got to give a response to a State of the Union?

I was almost tempted to answer but then realized the futility. Besides, look how many people are proud of the President- just a young bushman from Kenya and all the way to the White House (with the Constitution as a doormat, eh?).

She reminds me a little of this guy -

John Edwards: My greatest weakness is that I care too much, Tim. For 54 years, I’ve been fighting. I emerged from the womb with my dukes up, ready to do battle with every fiber of my day-old being.

I didn't say he was a Kenyan but come on, he was on the Presidential track eventually. Nothing wrong w/ that, Romney probably thought he would be POTUS one day too.

I think VA is gone forever to the blue column. OH/FL could flip/flop from here on out.

NOVA has become New Jersey south, but the Gillespie thing gives the R's some hope (false hope?)

Romney's dad ran for POTUS and was governor of Michigan. Obama's dad was from Kenya and hated America.

Are you serious Clark? Obama was on the same Presidential track as Mitt Romney?

You've earned the prestigious red badge of Tuffalo negrep courage, have you? We've been expecting you, young Go. Tuesday night is chicken night and the billiards table has a slight southwesterly lean. Otherwise, make yourself at home in this exclusive fraternity.
