The last four years are anything but normal. Great game Deacs. Sucks to end the way it did, but you have to love the fight these kids showed today. Love this kids and love this staff. It's oddly reassuring to look over there and see DM and RC. This team will be fantastic next year.

He was about 18 feet from the basket with 2 seconds left, he was getting ready to shoot the beautiful jump shot of his.

Not to pick on this post because I'm addressing the several instances I've seen people complain about CMM's FT shooting. Credit is due to him for coming a long way, he's now shooting close to 64% and has been actually good at the line over the last several games.
 
So is Dre gonna be back next year? Second game in a row at least that Dinos/Leonard play together when Devin's out. Seems Dre's ship has officially sailed.
 
Manning should be fired on the spot if he ever puts Leonard on the court. Leonard can't play defense against 8th grade girls at the y.
 
We have two ways to score: CMM driving and CMM pick and pop with Dinos or kick to Crab/Mitch.

Wish CMM would've kicked, had the best defender in the ACC on him.

He asked for and was granted his release last summer. He must have found out that no one higher than D-3 needed him.

Did you see Dino's lay into Leonard for bailing out on a drive to the basket by a UVA player that resulted in a dunk? It happened during the last 2 mins of the game. Dino's was hot.

Not against their set half-court defense.

I'd have to see it again but our best chance may have been Codi going up with the FT rebound and/or trying to draw a foul
 
1 thing became even clearer today: Leonard ought to play much less and Hudson ought to play much more.



Also, Dinos should be our go-to guy when we have make a shot.

And somehow no one's talking about Devin's 0-0 performance.
Devin should take CMM out for a steak for deflecting blame away from him.
 
Moore has some bounce right? No protector at the rim was the only liability DM couldn't patch together before the season started

He can't create on his own so him shooting the last shot is dependent on whoever's defending him or his area sagging off him.

The way he was shooting today that wasn't going to happen on the last play of the game
 
I think Danny is used to a little bit more depth and he likes to play a lot of people. But with our current lineup he just can't really do that and I think he's just a little nervous to shy away from it. I think Crab needs to play more for sure.
