Snow

I teach at Career Center. We offer a bus from each home school for our 1st period which starts at 8. Buses are also available to & from each home school for a morning session (2nd - 4th period, 9:14 - 11:36) as well as an aftn session (6th - 8th period, 12:45 - 3:10). With this set up, students can rely on buses for 1 class or up to 4 in the AM & or 3 in the aftn. If students have their own transportation then they can take as few or as many as they'd like.

Thanks.

I stand corrected.

And we don't want really good schools. Anything but that. If we had that, then we could identify the problems at the other schools and actually solve them. Better to dilute the problems by bussing the symptoms of those problems around town, spreading it all around real thin-like so nobody notices. Yeah....let's do that.

don't worry y'all, i can translate jhmd: "symptoms" = "negroes"

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Townie & Liquid Karma again.

Thanks, guys!

They talked about that on the news earlier in the week. They basically said sure, but you will lose. I'm sure real lawyers can chime in.

Guys, a classic snowstorm is in the works for almost all of NC on Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning of this week. All snow. No icing. 3-5" statewide (except southern coast) is showing on multiple models. Being 2 days out, the weather people on TV are about to go into storm mode.

Go fuck yourself.

Not sure how you other North Carolinians feel about it, but I'm a big fan of 1 solid wintry event per year, and am grateful we got that snow/sleet last week, but more than that just becomes annoying.

Not sure what the point of a weather forecast is if it completely changes in 2 days.

To be completely honest, this is one of those storms that will get wrapped up as the low moves up the coast. Areas somewhere in the southeast could see significantly higher totals. Even down into northern Georgia, the models are showing 5-6".

NOAA's current forecast for Wednesday night in the Triangle:

A slight chance of rain before 8pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 8pm and 9pm, then a slight chance of snow after 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
