BBall Recruiting Thread 2k16- SJM, Washington, Childress & Mitchell sign NLIs; 2017?

Because people have crunched the numbers and found that these older players who are graduating at 23 are less likely to make significant improvement to their games than players who are drafted that are 18-20. It is pretty intuitive. For instance, MCW is the same age as Derrick Favors who is in his 5th NBA season right now and I am pretty sure he is older than Brandon Knight. So you draft an older guy if you are happy with what they would give you right now and you draft younger guys hoping they make big jumps.

There are obviously exceptions, but the rule holds for the most part. Also, DeAndre Kane is an extreme case as he is going to be 26 in June. That said, he's done a good job at a low-ish level in Europe and it looks like a few teams are keeping tabs on him.

Larue shot 43.4% from three for his career
Peral shot 44.1% from three for his career

I wish the Greek had been on the 1995/96 team instead of Peral. I can't recall Peral ever lighting it up like Dinos . The best lineup that year was Chill, Rusty, Rutland , Scooter And Duncan .

I believe Peral led the nation in 3pt% his junior year. (And then disappeared for his senior year)

Peral didn't shoot as much as Dinos (probably because there was this guy named Tim on the team) but he did shoot 51% on 100 total attempts that season.

In fact Peral, Larue and Rutland combined to shoot 191-427 (44.7% on about 13.7 attempts per game) that season.

Wasn't Goolsby on that team? He was solid as well.

Two games in a week where if we held the opponent scoreless in the 2nd half we still lose.

Historic.

Somewhere on one of our threads, someone stated that there is a rumor on TOB that we may have 2 more scholarships opening up.so....yeah

Probably somebody who doesn't realize Rondale's scholarship is spoken for suggesting Washington is gone.
