Clinton Email Problem

YGTBSM.

If we're looking to beef up her resume whilst Secretary of State, let's not leave out this gem:

The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

#doesnotmattergotpaid

Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors.

Are we going to require more disc space to accomodate all of the Clinton scandals?

That's so awful. Please let somebody else run so I can give to, and volunteer for, their campaign.

Everybody's down on Hillary right now because it's all personality and scandal-hunting. Nobody likes how she's had to recreate what is essentially a commercial image multiple times, and there are plenty of past scars to focus on from emails to Benghazi to being the wife of Slick Willy.

But when most people actually start paying attention to the election a good long ways from now, and you have Hillary on stage debating whoever the right puts up against her, she's probably going to own them. Rubio recently got destroyed by John Kerry in Senate Committee hearing - it came off like a 12-year-old trying to stand up to daddy.

It's really easy to dislike Hillary. But she's smart as shit, has a ton of experience, and she doesn't have to cater to a party line that 80% of the country doesn't agree with just because she can't win the nomination without the 20% that does.

Get ready to hear "I'm not a big fan of her personally, but I think she'd make a good President" from about half of the people who vote for her.

Good post, DC.

It's not just the electoral college math that is crushing for the GOP. There's already a gender gap with women voting Dem. Bubba and Obama both got ~55% of the female vote. If Hillary increases that to 60%, it's a rout since the female vote is already the biggest bloc. GOP needs to eliminate Hillary now and hope for a weaker replacement or STFU. They overreached on Obama and moved the Black vote from the low 80s to 95%. It will never be anywhere close to 85% again anytime soon.

It's why Clinton announced she's running, but is currently "unrunning" as Politico said. She's just trying to float through the primary without having to do too much or put herself out there. If she gets the nomination I think she's almost a lock barring a very poorly timed scandal.

If the Bengazi investigation is being "delayed", they don't have anything. I have to believe if they had anything at all from all the scandalous stuff, now would be the time to use it.

I don't like Hillary personally, and I'm not sure she would make a good President. However, I would be lot more comfortable with her in the White House than any of the Republicans that have thrown their hat into the ring so far.

Why say she is smart?
Did she not go to Arkansas, following Bill, when she failed the DC bar and had to practice somewhere?
Did she not hide the billing records of her work at Rose in her personal residence?
Did she not use a personal e-mail server commingling public and private affairs?
Her actions show she is arrogant yes. But maybe she is dumb as a hammer.

sorry, I misread that. my bad. I'd vote against Hillary in the primaries if another viable candidate arises. I'd vote for her over the GOP option in the general, though.

I won't vote for her in a primary, even unopposed, but she'll get my vote over any Republican in this current climate.

That's why I'll probably end up voting libertarian. I would prefer to vote pub, but I can't bring myself to vote for any of the current crop. I would consider Christie over the lib candidate, though.

I would vote for Warren over her. I don't know if I would vote for anyone else over her in the Democratic primary. I think she's an immensely qualified candidate who is equipped to lead the country. I don't think she's the greatest candidate of all time but I think she's a pretty good one. I would vote for Hillary over any of the named Republican candidates and I wouldn't think twice about it.

Is it really a shocker that Numbers, ph and 07 would vote for her over a Republican? Next you will tell me jhmd is voting Republican.

yeah, not sure what the question is other than "i'd vote for the woman over another Dem just so i can put a woman on the ticket"?

My brother met her several times when she was at Wellesley. He said she was really smart (and he graduated from Brown). He also said she was incredibly ugly. The gal he was dating told him Hillary would be the first female President. This was in '67 or '68.
