Josh Duggar, Pervert

"The police report from 2006 says that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar knew that Josh Duggar was a 14-year-old PedoCub who molested several girls (including his sisters) but they never turned him over to the cops.

Jim Bob asked a state trooper friend (turned convicted kiddie porn collector) to give Josh a “stern” warning.

When the police wanted to talk to Josh for real in 2006, Jim Bob refused to bring his son in for questioning.

Well, the Jim Bob Duggar of 2002 claims to have felt much differently about how an incest committer should be punished.
In 2002, Jim Bob Duggar ran for U.S. Senate and on his campaign website, he said that anybody who commits incest should find themselves side-hugging the Grim Reaper"

He is (poorly) trying to make a point about adult/parental permissiveness of underage kids having sex with each other and the argument that liberals make that we should broaden sex education from strict abstinence-only to include safe-sex.

He once tried to lay into me for a post I made about my own experience having sex with my high school girlfriend every single glorious day when I was 16 and she was 15, that both of our parents knew about and tolerated, because we were 1)monogamous and 2) used birth control.
 
Mr and Mrs Jim Bob will be interviewed by Megyn Kelly next week. Get the Fox angle, but always thought Oprah, Diane Sawyer, or Dr Phil were the preferred mouthpieces for messy public confessions. Is ex Nixon aide Diane Sawyer now considered too liberal?
 
Again...I don't know who these people are. Aside from being a side show reality TV family why is this news? Before a week ago I had never heard of these people and now folks are acting like they are important. Why does anyone care?

So you're ignorant of popular culture therefore it doesn't matter?

Their show was (maybe is) one of the highest rated cable shows. Dude headed one of the big conservative lobbying groups.
 
I am all for pop culture (even if it is now populated by a lot of people that have no talent) but I don't understand why this is a "news" story.

I now know what "quiverfull" means, anti-feminist, subservient females, evangelical Christians, home schooling, rural, believe that the womb was designed to "destroy the works of Satan in this world. God is looking for an army," no birth control, as many kids as God knows you can handle, the groups leader has a pending lawsuit that he repeatedly went into a 15 year old's room and jerked off on her...

Their views on reproduction are particularly interesting as they crucify welfare/single/poor mothers for the exact same behavior. If this family was black, with 19 kids, Hannity wouldn't be able to get on tv fast enough.
