I think my favorite thing here is the repeated misspelling of "damn." At first you wonder if maybe it's a typo, but then he really brings it home.

The stats I linked to say rifles were used in 323 murders in 2011. Either (a) it says 323 and not 32.3 or (b) maybe assault-style rifles are less than 10% of all rifles so that's the #advancedgunnutsstats.

Lets assume a lot of those number are exaggerated, but is the general gist of that thing wrong? Can an unmarried mother not get most of those benies and scam the tax payer with the help of the "husband". If you can do it, you can bet a lot of people are. I think this is kind of what JMHD has been railing against as this appears to show (assuming some accuracy) there is a strong disincentive to get married if you are on the fringes of society anyway.
 
i think ya'll are seriously over-estimating poor people and their knowledge of the tax code and ways to manipulate it
