Tough to call this early. Seems to have better court vision than any freshman guard we've had in a while. Very sloppy at times tonight but I'm sure he will adjust to the college game. He forced a lot early and was inconsistent on defense. Showed glimpses of being able to play strong man to man but was lost at other times. Too small of a sample size to make a true comparison. Missed all three 3 point shots he took but had pretty good form. Great free throw form.

I guess the staff thought we'd benefit more from having an enormous fifth-year senior next year, when CMM and particularly DT are gone, than we would from him this year. Or, they thought it would make it more likely / palatable for him to transfer.

Who knows, maybe Danny and staff can work with him this year and get something out if him next year, he's shown a few flashes.

We will have Doral and Mathias at center next year, with Dinos, JC and the California 6'8" forward next year. I'm sure he'll get the sheepskin and move on for an opportunity to play. That's good of the staff for trying to help him .

Yeah. I wouldn't have even let him in wearing that shit. Wake owns the Joel. It's private property. I'm sure the ticket has some language on it to give Wake the leeway to prevent that kind of crap. And if not, it should.
