The 2016 Panthers Thread: Keep Pounding

I have a feeling we come out and beat the living shit out of Dallas this weekend. That locker room is a tinder box just waiting for Greg Hardy to throw one punch at a teammate/coach on the sideline and cause the whole organization to burn to the ground. Dallas is an absolute disaster behind closed doors. The Panthers are the complete opposite in terms of team strength and heart.

I hope you're right but I don't feel great about it.

Granted, it is hilarious to hear commentators saying "The Cowboys get the Panthers on a short week" as if the Cowboys didn't also play on Sunday...away from home at that. I would get the argument that Dallas is used to playing on Thanksgiving and we aren't but come on.

I feel the exact opposite.

Have faith. This team is special. Dallas is an absolute disaster. This is basically a classic Dallas Week 17 choke job. Dallas must win this game or their season is over. Anyone honestly think Romo is the guy you'd want to have playing the best team in the NFC with the season on the line.....?

Panthers: 30
Dallas: 13

One good thing is that even though it's a short week our top guys on D only played like 35 snaps on Sunday. They should be reasonably fresh.

Yep, though I think Rivera should have had them out of the game even earlier than he did.

"For the rest of the sports world, Cam Newton is entertaining. He’s fun. Believe it or not, entertainment and fun is kind of what draws most fans to sports in the first place. No little kid falls in love with football over concussions, TV timeouts, uniform violations, charity initiatives that give little money to charity, daily fantasy controversies, Greg Hardy, tone deaf commissioners, incomprehensible rules on what constitutes a catch, torn ligaments, missed extra points, touchbacks, backup quarterbacks or endless video replay. Yet all that is increasingly what defines the NFL. If not for players and personalities like Cam Newton, who actually dare to openly enjoy the game, the modern NFL would easily supplant church as Sunday’s most yawn-inducing institution."

Yeah, this just summarized the shithole that is ESPN these days. That shit is what happens when you get a bunch of wet blanket, politically-correct journalists/politicians running a sports network.

Haha yes let's compare the biggest drug dealer of all time to an NFL QB

Yeah, ladies lovvvvvvvvve Luke. My GF is a Pats fan but can't keep her eyes off of him.
There was some interview where cam was asked about his love life and he joked that all the ladies in Charlotte just ask him about Luke
