I think a lot of people are underestimating how good Xavier is, while at the same time also underestimating how bad our defense is.

They negate our biggest strength in rebounding despite being smaller across the board. I doubt we can stay in front of their guards to prevent penetration for the dribble/drive/kick, which is extremely problematic since they have three shooters at 39% or better.

This. But, we're so bad defensively, that we give up 70-80 to bad offensive teams, so it really doesn't matter how good you are offensively, we're going to make you look good. We have to have our offense cranking and just hope we score more points.

I think we get buried early and then dig out of the hole with a steady dose of Devin and JC down low, but fade late. Prediction, Xavier 84 Wake 72.
