Well, it's not working. Punish them.
LOL at the idea that venue matters with k's influence on the dumber than dirt sycophant officials.
I'll admit that +/- is an iffy stat, but sometimes it's good for confirming the eye test.

CMM killed us tonight. Absolutely flat out killed us. He was -17 in 26 minutes. Crab was -5 in 20. Everyone else who played major minutes was positive. Wilbekin and Watson were +7 and +6. The Lineup +/- below shows that Manning had the crunch time lineup figured out with Crawford, Wilbekin, and Watson as the 3 guards and things fell apart when CMM came back in the game. FT obviously hurt but CMM was a complete liability all night.

Really wish that Manning had called a timeout when we were down 4 and scuffling with the ball. Ended up with a contested CMM three attempt that everyone knew had no chance of going in. Needed two drive the ball on that possession.
No doubt. Was very obvious to anyone watching the game that CMM's offensive liabilities just murdered our half court sets.
For all that CMM's absence early help speed up Crawford's development, it has equally hurt CMM. Still looks woefully out of it in all of the half court offense. The team isn't used to having zero spacing there and he isn't even attacking and finishing confidently there like last year. Big drain on the halfcourt.
Collins was better than Dinos for long spells. Should be 20/20 and go with hot hand. Would like to see Moore get 6-8 mins, he continues to improve. Crab needs more time, probably from CMM and Wilbekin.

So by this measure Dinos and Crawford were both +2. But I thought Dinos singlehandedly lost the game for us???
I think CMM is just a player who needs the ball a lot to be effective. That works as the best player on a bad team, but not for a 4th or 5th option with limited basketball IQ. Even Watson was doing the little things on both sides of the court far better. I was hoping Manning wasn't going to fall into the LOWF trap of falling in love with players who looked good on bad teams but couldn't pull it together when more talent came in.
