What's wrong with Coleman? He was awesome this year

I meant Boston and Coleman as a combo. I'm fine with Coleman. I'd like somebody better than Boston or at least potentially better. Ideal Boston makes a leap of course.

If we could get weddle and Mario Williams on the cheap, I would be happy. Williams had 13 sacks2yrs ago as a DE.

I've got the whole game on DVR. Right now all I have is hazy in person memories. I don't think I want to reinforce them by seeing how it unfolded on TV.

Right there with you. Wife asked me not to delete it as she wants to watch the commercials. I figure in a month or two, I'll go back and watch the game with a clearer mind.

I can't ever watch this game again for these reasons.

Yeah I just brought myself to look at ESPN for the first time this week. Haven't listened to sports radio at all - was just gutted by the loss.

Great year all around, but it just hurts to be that close and not be able to seal the deal especially since we held their offense to under 200 yards.

GMan pretty obviously values safeties as low as any other position and has a track record of turning scrap heap guys into productive pieces. No doubt he'll do it again.

I think this is more on McDermott and scheme than anything else.

GMan obviously needs to make moves like this to save cap space so we can think about a guy like Weddle, but a lot of the credit goes to the Coordinators

I'm still pretty heartbroken. It absolutely felt like our year, and on the flipside, to me never really felt like Denver's - they could have potentially missed the playoffs before Week 16, Peyton sucked all year, etc. Obviously it was a possibility, but I never really thought we'd lose the Super Bowl. We had just too strong a team on both sides. I promptly deleted from DVR as soon as I got home. I don't ever care to see that again.

Is Charles Johnson res-structuring again, getting released, or just sticking around like business as usual. He had a disappointing year. I would be okay with parting ways and using that money somewhere else.

Do you guys really want Weddle? I know a lot of people have a hard on for him but i've been underwhelmed with him every time i've watched him the last few seasons. I'd much rather spend a high draft pick to bring in a talented rookie than Weddle.

I think George Iloka is the safety they should go after. Only 25 years old too.

Yeah, he thought he had it all figured out for Glendale, then he got taken to the woodshed.

Bengals SB site thinks he's a $6-7M a year type guy.

Players drafted by the Panthers from 2011-15 who are still on the roster.
QB 1
RB 1
FB 0
TE 0
WR 2
OT 1
OG 1
C 0
DE 2 (includes potential FA Frank Alexander)
DT 2
LB 4
CB 2
S 1

I think GMan wants to spread young players throughout the roster to keep enough player at each position on rookie contracts

Based on this, it seems like the best bet positions are OT, OG/C, DE, and S. Of course, we wouldn't have put LB on the list last year and we took 2.

Something has to happen with both Charles Johnson and Jared Allen this offseason.

Speaking of DE, Wes Horton signed a 1-year deal today.
