Only big scheduling decision for me should be Wavves vs Yeasayer, but I've seen Wavves twice now, so. Pleasantly surprised with Grimes, Local Natives, and Modern Baseball. M83 straight into Radiohead on Saturday is gonna be wild. Probably going with Disclosure over RHCP and OBVIOUSLY Lana over J Cole.

Anyway I AM EXCITE.

Phife Dawg has passed away at 45, apparently. Had been in ill health.

Damn. Sad to see. If you haven't seen it, now would be a good time to check out Michael Rapaport's pretty excellent documentary, Beats Rhymes & Life.

The band basically broke up because Q-Tip couldn't stand Fife's unwillingness to get treatment for his condition, and live a lifestyle that would allow him to continue with the band. They did a reunion tour when Fife needed money for a liver transplant.

I know they are down on the list, but if you can check out Sunflower Bean. Dude has Hendrix fingers.

Yeah posted that a while back on this thread.

Anyone recognize any hip-hop to check out on the bottom-tier? I don't see any.

Towkio and D.R.A.M. both toured with Chance and were pretty solid as far as opening acts go.

Also, not in the rap realm, but Frank Turner is INSANE live. And Chreub was a pretty fun show as well.
