So what do you think is more likely: that the Bucks are thinking 5 years ahead when he hits free agency, or that this is a dumb theory?
 
Giannis only has two more years after this one, but Ph's argument is still really dumb. There are like five franchise PGs under 30 right now.

2 more years on his rookie deal, of which every single player ever extends with their current team if they are a max guy?
 
Yeah, Ph's argument only works if the Bucks don't think he's a max player, but other teams do, but only if he's a wing player.

the story is his teammates don't trust him. parker banged a teammate's wife. no matter how big the balls that takes (and effort - atta boy you banged his wife when he was not looking! F him.) it's shocking more was not made of it.

but maybe you are right. maybe being a snitch ("snitches get stitches" - Carmelo Anthony) is worse than banging a teammate's wife. both are undeniably sh!tty.
 
Shaq and Parker show that nobody really cares who you banged as long as you're a Finals MVP.

My logic about Point Giannis is pretty simple. More teams will be in the market for a SG or SF or PF than a straight up PG. If Giannis sees himself as strictly a PG when he's a free agent, he's not going to listen to pitches from teams that already have their max PG.

There is no video to support that Tony Parker banged Barry's wife. And I believe Barry is still with his wife so what likely happened was that Barry was not happy that Parker, then recently separated from his Latina wife was hanging out with Barry's remarkably similar looking mixed-race wife.

Russell's problem is the whole world knows what he did and his teammate may lose his cash money sweetheart. Most NBA wives don't bring in their own payola, so this hits a lot of players hard.

No video but hundreds of sext and text messeges between the former mrs barry, yes they divorced after it came out, and tony. Eva longoria divorced parker after it came to light also. Maybe p never touched v but that sure sounds unlikely.

I do agree he lost out on an "earner" for a 19 yo piece of tail.
 
I think it's funny the Lakers crowed booed Russell last night. I mean I get the sentiment of being upset with what he did, but essentially you're shunning a dude who is supposed to be a building block for your future because he did a really shitty thing to a clown who goes by the nickname Swaggy P and isn't really all that good at basketball. #hottake
 
And it's not like Nick Young is the good guy in this situation (unless he and his racist GF have an open relationship).
