Was it ever discussed why Toog cannot be maf2 or was it just the silencing
 
Geez Gouda has been dead since the middle of day 1 and still has more posts than Boston
 
And maybe I'm wrong, but all game my thinking has not been to track people to teams. I think you can get caught in the weeds doing that. To me you vote for the folks who look maf regardless of what team they might be on
 
So its overnight and I can banter a bit. We just got our first dog. She is a rescue cocker spaniel/shih tzu mix that looks like a cavalier King Charles. She is so cute and chill. Awesome dog. That is all.

When doofus had no posts, I said not typical doofus. Which was correct, after he started posting I got a different read and acted accordingly

Him being maf1 is more buoyed by numbers than anything else - numbers claimed 8 mins pre deadline when it was he or Toog. And tried to lynch Boston. Case for Toog as Mafia one is: if numbers wasn't Mafia with Toog but was going to fake claim, he would've said, I'm cop, get off me, with about 3 mins left. Would have spilled a few civ leans and let Toog die. Wasn't going to be hard to kill Toog - there were already plenty of votes there. Instead he did it early enough to try to steer to 3rd party.

Gun to my head Toog is maf1 but he's my best bet for maf period and I didn't know if there was a reason why he couldn't be maf 2

6-2 going to night with Jtp and raise virtually cleared. Maf2 kills civ, and it's 5-2 with two mislynches left.

6-1-1 going into night. There's a chance for a cross hit but it would be really bad for maf to cross hit at this time so it's likely 5-1-1 coming out of night. Still looking at a two mislynch scenario.

Civ lynched it's
5-1-2 going into night - maf1 prob wants to hit maf2 in this scenario but would need to do the math. They still need Jtp and raise dead.

Regardless - don't think I see a different between scenario1 and scenario2 unless you expect a cross hit. My guess is with the assumption that Gooner was cop at this stage of the game, and two cleared civs, threat of cross hit is low.
 
I think Toog is prob maf1 more than maf2 but I don't think there's a difference at this stage in EV so I'd prefer to kill person I'm most confident is maf. Boston at least is very unlikely to be maf1, so I think Toog goes here.

This Boston/Texas interaction is a hot mess...
Really bad attempt at separation here assuming Toogs is Mafia 1... Raises the possible question of which one isn't Mafia?
