i think it's less the 'kids enjoying things' aspect than it is the 'people being painfully unaware of their surroundings because their phone is 6" away from their face at all times.'
'

I'm not sure it's fair to pin that trend on Pokemon Go.

we need some kind of Pokemon thing that I can play while on the john. Until then I'm out

OMfG this makes me irrationally angry like BKF's stupid goddamn fantasy baseball thread.

I 1000% agree with this. It's like their own little CT. Discussing some baseball, some golf, their dogs and health issues. We need to shift the CT over there again

Canada Geese are dumb because first of all, why aren't they called Canadian Geese?

I've made a truce with ducks. I give them pieces of white bread and they leave me alone. However the rest of those baby dinosaurs are nothing short of the devil's spawn.

I can't even with all this bird hate.

Let's hear your pros with Canada geese?

Also, if I hadn't seen a mockingbird chase a squirrel around the yard, I'd be fine with those exiting too.

I've never had a problem with geese and definitely not ducks (by which I assume everyone is talking about Mallards, the most boring/stupid of ducks)

Just leave animals alone and they'll leave you alone.

eta: except goose shit. canada geese do indeed suck balls with their shitting everywhere.

I've had a mockingbird attack me before, those things are vicious.

Saw a hawk, or other large-ish bird of prey, pick up a squirrel the other day and fly it across the street right in front of my bike -- I nearly took them out. Poor squirrel was still kicking, but probably didn't have long for this world. RIP.

My favorite post of 2016 is when there was some discussion of birds on some thread and the poster known as "birdman" made a long-ass educational post about birds and it was like, damn, this guy really is not kidding when he calls himself birdman.

i default all bird questions to chic.
