I can't believe that the IOC wants to cut wrestling - one of the original Olympic sports - but want to have things like synchronized diving and surfing.

Synchronized diving and surfing paid bigger bribes than wrestling.

Agreed. There are about 30 other sports that deserve to go first. Including men's soccer, which is essentially a youth tournament in the Olympics.
