wait. are you going to both Aspen and Vail on the same trip? That's quite a drive....although I guess to get from Aspen to Denver you have to drive through Vail.
 
So, Hillary is going to be on campus (UNCG) this afternoon and no one told us until last night in the middle of the night (and my office handles special events on campus) Weird. We have to take leave to go and I don't have any leave...womp womp

it's super critical that the Spec. Events staff be at full strength for a few hours on a Thursday?

Oh, my office handles special events amongst other things. I am even less critical (Instructional Design and Online Course Creation). I just thought it was weird that they didn't even tell the office handling the event until yesterday. It's UNC system policy that no staff attend political events on the clock, which I get, but yeah, lame.

Is that the Hatch Act or does it only apply for Federal Employees?

Is Campus Police attending? I bet so.

Surely, you could find a job-related reason.

Yeah, you can attend if it's in the course of your duties, I might be able to elbow in with the events staff
