Wake Forest's own Tommy Elrod caught leaking football information to other teams

I thought it was "new" that Clawson said Wake allows more media access than any team in the ACC. The word here is that what Wake's level of access was not unusual. It is definitely new that Clawson plans to take serious measures to restrict media access. That's news.

OK, there was some new information in the video. I was incorrect. I'm sorry and I take the L.

See, that wasn't so hard to do.

This at least puts his motivations into focus:

Fox8 Exclusive Elrod Interview

Not sure I can forgive him for being willing to give us up, but I guess he feels some solace that he didn't just turn around and desert us after we made him cry about getting the boot. This story is just so bizarre.

First time I've ever been glad that advertisements precede the main content.

So, what are the odds that Clawson shakes Petrino's hand next year post game? 10-1?

Based on Clawson's interview and him saying he cannot speak about specific games per Wake counsel, you can tell he was itching to go gonzo on Petrino. Should be fun next year.

There are a lot of loose lips out there. You don't want any info to even casually end up in the wrong hands.

Clawson is clearly dealing with a lot of personal and professional hurt. You've got to feel for the guy. And it's clear that this investigation took its toll on him and the coaching staff over the last two games. He didn't know if it was someone on his staff or even a player who was involved.

I think we do generally allow more access than most ACC schools, though not in a way that was relevant here. For example, at how many schools does the head football coach sit down with the media after his weekly press conference and eat lunch and talk casually? I would guess we're the only one. And people like Dan get access to practice that beat writers at schools like Clemson and Florida State probably don't get.

But I'm not sure we're much of an outlier in what we let our radio analyst do. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Seems weird for Fox 8 to host their video on YouTube.

I could definitely picture rj slipping drew a roofie "just for shits and giggles"

You have really gone off the deep end.

It's one thing to hate my position on kickball/soccer. It's quite another to attack my character in a way that you think I would do anything to harm or drug somebody.

That's way, way, way over the line.

Yeah, so we don't actually know it was someone at UL trying to help us out, and that's probably why the post you were referring to has been ignored. I highly doubt anyone at that institution made an attempt to do the right thing and expose their staff as cheaters.

No, we don't for sure. To you it seems like someone was that careless or stupid. But for the plays to be left in a place where we found it? Too much of a coincidence for me. Louisville recruits and players weren't so stupid to go all Marvin Austin and tweet about the Billy Minardi whorehouse. I think if Marvin Mitchell moves on from Louisville after 15 years, we'll know the truth.

the continued "kickball/soccer" phrase is special, too

You just asked someone a few pages ago if DR fucked their wife. How is siff's comment over the line and yours isn't?

I am serious. There are certain things you don't accuse people of doing. Posting I would drug innocent friends is one them.

It's not funny or innocent on your part. It's very telling.

I'm not sure if this is more amusing, or the fact that rj's lack of pop culture expertise makes him look like an even dumber fuck than usual.

Please explain what I didn't understand about the pop culture here?

At least that should be amusing...
