yeah, he sort of glosses everything with "Britain almost certainly would have surrendered" but doesn't really explain why. Then goes on to agree with what i said which is: Britain was in no shape to defeat an invasion, with or without their tiny standing army, given the loss of war material. The RAF and Navy, Hitler's incompetence, and the Channel/germany's non-existent marine operations ability prevented said invasion.
