I disagree with you
i mean, it's a law that unauthorized civilians can't speak for the government without sanction.
How do you figure? I seem to recall Obama galavanting all around the world and meeting with world leaders when he was a candidate. Shit, he hadn't even won the election yet.
Obama - "Sanctions on Russia for tampering with our election"
Russia - "This is unfair. We will retaliate"
Flynn - "Chill out. Obama is gone in a few days. We'll work things out"
Russia - "This is not worthy of retaliation"
Media and Trump Haters - OMG this is the worst thing ever! Impeach Trump! Imprison Flynn! Time to run around in circles and scream!

So why did Flynn resign instead of fighting "Media and Trump Haters" to the delight of folks like you?
what kind of weak leader is Trump if he made him resign over a nothing issue just because of the crooked media?
well then that's a huge red flag on Trump's original judgment to name him NSA despite connections to Russia.
I think Flynn told the ambassador not to react to the sanctions Obama just levied on Russia because Trump wouldn't enforce them. We need to know if Trump asked him to do this and why they would do this? Was this a quid pro quo for help winning them presidency?
well that is certainly the kindest possible interpretation of what's transpired so far (and still not all that kind).
one thing is for sure that the transcript of the phone call needs to be released with any sensitive info redacted. it alarmed sally yates enough that she thought flynn was vulnerable to blackmail.
speaking to and speaking for are two totally different things
Wait, there are people out there who believe the story that Flynn was just acting on his own when talking to the Russian ambassador about sanctions and shortly after that conversation Donald was very complementary on Twitter towards Russia for "doing the right thing" and Flynn was just out there going rogue?
I mean come on guys.
