yesterday I went to the vending machine for a Snickers and it was $1. seemed high. (But I needed it, so I bought it... of course today someone brings in a huge sack of leftover Halloween candy including lots of Snickers.)

I went down the stairs that I never use to access the vending machine and it's like a twilight zone over there. I always use the ones on the other side of the building.

Frankly, I prefer Tech to UVA. More egalitarian. Went to Wake then William & Mary for grad school and have lived in VA ever since, so I tend to root for all the VA schools except when they play Wake. So was happy for and watched some of the JMU championship game this year. Add to that VA is 1 of the better states in the country in terms of having a number of solid state colleges. Don't most folks root for their alma mater and then 1 or more of their state schools?

i've lived in PA for like 7 years now and can't imagine pulling for any of their state schools

i guess i pulled for villanova over unc, but that was just because fuck UNC
