Mike Flynn Resigns

So conservative posters that abandon their guy make you happy. Big shock there. You thinking about a journalism career?

Abandon? Fuck that shit.

I pledge allegiance to a US flag...not a party and definitely not a person. We'd all be a lot better off if the entire country could learn how to do the same. It's really not that difficult.

Petraeus improperly passed along classified material to Lt. Col. Paula Broadwell (US Army Reserve Intel Officer) who improperly stored it on her computer and at her home. Petraeus was punished accordingly.

Hillary improperly stored classified material on an unauthorized private server; the classified material somehow ends up on Anthony Weiner's computer; is also exposed to a team of Clinton attorney's who reviewed which emails were work related and which were personal (none of the attorneys had security clearances); there's nearly universal agreement that Clinton's server was hacked; Hillary wiggled out of punishment by claiming ignorance.

It seems to me that Hillary's information was just as compromised as the Petraeus information.

I don't think the classified info was on Weiner's computer. Link?

Also there is not "nearly universal" agreement that Clinton's server was hacked unless the readership of Breitbart is the entire universe. I haven't seen any credible sources reporting that

Also you miss the difference between ignorance and intent (a big difference) and the fact that Petraeus did it to make money.

But keep the alternative facts coming

So you're pissed off people in the intelligence community are actively leaking classified information to hurt the President?

Bc trump said it during a couple debates/speeches.

Or he said "big league". But it sounds like bigly

"Big league" works as an adjective, ex: "He has a big-league fastball" or "This is a big-league debate". What Trump uses sounds like an adverb, and your wouldn't say "He pitches big-league". Thus, it's bigly.

He's doing that just fine on his own

can we get phan to weigh in on this.? if true, OED should add "bigly" as an english word for the lulz. it's already in my lexicon along with yuge.

Lolz. Might be the worst post I've read on this board since the election started.

Trump's base is built on being adversarial. Any "attacks" on Trump only galvanize his support.

Well said.

Pretty sure Weiner's computer only had some emails that Huma was on. That's it.

What the fuck does Hillary have to do with any of this? Is she in the running to be Flynn's successor?

At this point nothing ceases to amaze me anymore

this kind of shit is just the tip of the incompetence and stupidity to come. the only thing worse will be watching the defenders go down with the lies.

I think it will be worse when they don't go down at all.

aocs' portrayal of what Petraeus did is a whitewash worthy of Tom Sawyer.

"The so-called "black books" held reams of classified information, including conversations with the president, top-secret code words, as well as "the identities of covert officers, war strategy, intelligence capabilities and mechanisms, diplomatic discussions, quotes and deliberative discussions from high-level National Security Council meetings," they state.

After his tour, Petraeus didn't transfer the black books to an official Defense Department historian as he should have and instead kept them for his personal use, according to the court records. In 2011, he left the notebooks at a private residence in D.C. so Broadwell could have access to them for her forthcoming book, "All In: The Education of General David Petraeus."

Oops, y'all had this well under control.

So Hillary did not intentionally set up the unauthorized server. Got it.
