A little History for those collected here

Granted it has probably been over 5 years since I have looked at the UNC board, but she always struck me as being completely psychotic and just a nasty person in general. The type of person that would create a huge scene in a restaurant if her meal got screwed up in the slightest way.

Yeah, which is why I don't even want to get into a conversation with her. I'm sure I'd reveal that I know who she is and I hate her guts and that would rub her the wrong way and she beat me over the head with her iPhone.

Tibor and Bandwagon Boy were both done by Dan87. I have a Tibor rant on a hard drive, somewhere...and yes, the Buffy, the vampire killer threads were inspired by Blucas. The best moment in the then history of these internets was when Tibor started posting on some site devoted to Buffy (Boofy in a bow to Tibor). The teenage girls who apparently infested that place couldn't figure out what was going on. "What the fuck is a Daemon Diken?"

Good scoop. First I have heard that.

Careful RJK. I think outting people as RJK friends is against board bylaws.

I want to say categorically I have never hung out with RJK.

my first post was on Scout boards in about 2005 or 2006 trying to scare up a parking pass. didn't work. Amazing that there is a direct lineage back from this board to some guys who used those AOL CD-ROMs as something other than coasters.

Or would ever see you. It's Anaheim.

83 has been seen with me at the Rainbow. AZ has been seen at many places. A group of us were together at Slaon's and then 3rd Street Promande in SM for Deacs in the ACCT.

Blah blah blah - beach drinking is the best. If you can't get along with a fellow Deacon alum while drinking at the beach, you've got a problem.

I don't knolw if I'd consider the place in Manhattan Beach a "beach bar" in that it wasn't that close to the beach. It was a good dive bar. That being said I'd rate the Longboard (also went there with DR and palma) as the best beach bar we've gone to, with Duke's in Malibu as #2. I take local places over corporate ones.

I know we went to a corner bar in Santa Monica with Katherine. Didn't we also go to place in the Marina with her?

Definitely Longboard & Dukes were 1 & 2. Mo's in Playa del Ray was the dive bar I think and pretty sure we watched a Duke game there. Was the bar in MB Panchos, where they had the live music? We hit O'Brien's w/Kathryn in Santa Monica for the 1999 ACC-Big 10 challenge against Wisconsin. If we did one in the Marina too it had to be either Tony P's or Baja Cantina.

The MB was on PCH, dark. It was soprt l-shaped in the corner of a tiny strip center.

I think the three of us took up half of O'Brien's "parking lot". The spots were so small that my car was almost covering the sidewalk. Everything else was street parking there.

I would guess Tony P's. I would have remembered Baja Cantina as it was one of Golf Club and my go to places right behind the Cheesecake.

At the same time? Because my fucking head would explode from all the inherent awesome there if I was privy to all of the conversational shenanigans that mystical evening.

You haven't heard about The Three Amigos ?

No. I just assumed that a meeting between the three would tear a hole in the time space continuum, as I assume it would be physically impossible for all three to occupy an area that close together. It would be like an imploding star of self righteousness collapsing into a black hole of erroneous hottakes bombarded by an asteroid belt of hidden self loathing and overcompensation.

Absolutely at the same time. The three of us hung out for the entire tournament in Anaheim.
