EMERGENCY BACK UP Wake Forest vs #8 Louisville game thread

We're getting out played right now, and if it wasn't for our 3 point shooting to begin the game we would be losing. We have to play better in the 2nd half.

we're struggling with BC? what the hell?

Collins with 0 shot attempts where he wasn't fouled. C'mon guys.

Somehow we're shooting 50%, they're shooting 37%, and it might be about to be a two-point game

There are no easy wins in the ACC tournament. You are almost always about 3-4 minutes of bad basketball away from a loss. We are playing poorly, and we are lucky to be playing a poor team. Hope we pick it up soon. Almost look like we are trying to conserve energy out there. No need to conserve it if we lose. 1 win is all it takes for us to make the tournament. We need to pick up our pace. A lot of walking out there.

This effort is really bad. 7 turnovers, only 5 assists. Only 1 offensive rebound. Losing every loose ball. Pick it up, Deacs!

You're wrong man. Not everything that happens in sports is function of skill.

You're wrong (and lazy) man. Not anything that happens in sports is because luck likes or doesn't like you on the day.

You read the ball's spin wrong, so you just couldn't reach it.
You fired it off with the wrong trajectory and strength, so it wasn't successful.

Putting it down to "luck" is such a crutch. I find it a lazy way to explain why things went tits up.

I'm watching this on my phone and the only angle they show is the camera from on top of the backboard on one side of the court....it's pretty awful

Inability to stop dribble penetration is Wake's biggest weakness.

You're wrong. There are a million reasons why things happen that aren't down to skill. Is Bowman's injury because we were more skillful than him? Or because he didn't land skillfully enough? It's a stroke of luck for us.

I've never once argued injuries are not a matter of luck. I've argued control of the ball and where is goes is clearly not a matter of luck.

The number of times a wake player knocks a rebound away from John Collins is pretty amazing
