2017 Workout/Weightloss Accountability Thread

35F at F3 this morning. 14 people. Oldest guy was 54, youngest was 29.

Remembered to wear my FitBit today!

I've been doing a boot camp from 6am to 7am Tuesday through Friday since January. It goes through March and ends with a 5K. About half the people that started this boot camp have dropped out and most of those dropped out within the first week.

This is my first boot camp and it is really intense but it is also really rewarding. It is really expensive (approximately $725 for 12 weeks) but working out in a group where you push, challenge and encourage each other is a lot of fun.

Keep up the good work everyone.

I just could not let RevDeac win the workweek hustle contest again.

Thank you.

I had huge days on Monday & Tuesday at a work conference where I also played about 90 minutes of pickup hoops each day... And then I got blackout drunk on Tuesday night and spent Wednesday (and some of Thursday) trying to recover.

One of these weeks I'll put it all together.

I was shocked, a 30,000 step day?!?! Y'all get a head start on me this week - we all got the stomach thing last night, so I skipped the gym this morning for the first time this year. On the plus side, I'm now also down 10 pounds for the year!

I would like to mention too, my step count is pure steps because I just have the zip. So I never wear it when I cycle or anything. I think I did 90 minutes in the morning, 60 at lunch, and an hour and a half in the evening, combined with making up reasons to walk at work. Once I had beat you, I felt like I should keep walking until I hit 30k which would be my personal record.

Onward to 35k!

I've had conferences where I did 30k steps / day for 3-4 days. I thought my feet were going to fall off. After the 2nd day, I'd changed from dress shoes to tennis shoes.

A day of walking up and down the Vegas strip is usually 25k for me.

My feet still hurt from last Monday & Tuesday. It is kind of pathetic.

I failed to sync before the cut off and lost 20k steps for the Workweek Hustle. Still wouldn't have won. Did get 20k steps on Saturday though. Dude in another Workweek Hustle gets at least 20k every day and always wins. We're about ready to boot him!

Where the fuck are you people going with all these steps ?

Imagine these are city folks in their fancy condo buildings walking down the avenue to get their lattes.

my accountability is in the crapper.

same. Up to 205 now. Time to make my annual push to get back down to 180-185 before football season and then get fat again. It's a devilish cycle. I'm going to start INSANITY today!
