Trailers for Movies You Want to See

yeah, he sort of glosses everything with "Britain almost certainly would have surrendered" but doesn't really explain why. Then goes on to agree with what i said which is: Britain was in no shape to defeat an invasion, with or without their tiny standing army, given the loss of war material. The RAF and Navy, Hitler's incompetence, and the Channel/germany's non-existent marine operations ability prevented said invasion.

I'm not saying it's not an important event, it's just not 'the event that shaped the world'

I can't find it on Youtube to link here, but today at an IMAX theater I saw a 7 minute preview of Dunkirk that's made me officially ALL IN for the movie. I already was all in, but now it's in all caps. The dogfighting looked amazing. Now, full disclosure here, I've never flown a Spitfire, let alone against Me109s, but the flight footage seemed realistic, certainly compared to what was recently shown in Red Tails, which was basically "X-Wing vs Tie Fighter" with Mustangs.

I haven't been following super closely but I thought we were going to get a Prometheus sequel? I thought the next Ridley Scott Aliens movie was going to follow Fassbender and Rapace as they were off to the Architect planet? Is that movie still going to get made?

This looks entertaining, but it is just a reboot with new characters.

ETA I googled and it is a prequel to Prometheus. Boo

Not sure what this post is about, but the Alien: Covenant movie shown directly above IS a sequel to Prometheus and prequel to Alien. They're going to fit a few between Prometheus and Alien and then go about sequels to Alien/Aliens

This, with Varys and Al Capone, could be interesting. Trailer doesn't look like all that, but those two are good actors, so maybe they can pull it off.

It's going to be sad ! when Kenny Fuckin' Powers has his face eaten off.
