it's good he's doing this now. we don't have to be in kinda limbo mode in the grad transfer market anymore.

Whelp, now we can all be happy for him. Kill 'em in the league, John. And sell the Deacs to the talented youths out there.
 
Which agent did he hire? (Nobody ever asks that)
 
He isn't physically ready, but this is the way the business works. Too bad. Next year would have been a lot of fun if he had stuck around.

Inevitable, but still sucks to see him go. Seems like we're in a catch-22 where to get the guy to stay an extra year, he has to think your team has a legitimate shot at a championship if he stays, but to have a legitimate shot at a championship, you need the guy to stay the extra year. We can't get one so we can't get the other. Blah.
 
Good luck JC! It was an absolute blast watching his progression into an all-ACC player (should have been ACC POY) these past two seasons. I hope he has an amazing career in the NBA.
