Ohh yes I forgot summertime where apparently awake and httd are both magically unemployed/European and take more vacation than is possible.

Boston/Lil Rhodey/New Hampshire
Asheville
(maybe work trip to St Louis)
Toronto
(maybe work trip to Orlando)

that gets me through June!

Chat Thread Irene: it's a strange paradise

What all summer plans we all got?
Asheville next month, then Sacramento, then Boston. God I love summer.

Work like 90 hours a week.

I think imma do the Art Loeb trail in September if that counts.

Asheville and Boston are the current lanes. Looking to add one more. My fall vacations are even better than summer.

I forgot who you were until this. ALL VACATION ALL DAY.

I probably said before, but both my parents are teachers so I grew up with summers off and just can't kick the habit.

Chaundee gonna wear 23

Who was the last 23 at Wake? Richard Joyce is the first one that comes to mind. Was James Johnson?

Where did you get that scoop?

SLC- Grand Teton- Yellowstone- SLC to fly to Vegas- to Bryce & Zion- back to Vegas all for 2 weeks in June/July. Late July I have to head to some beach between P'cola and Fort Walton Beach in FL for my brother's wedding.

RTQ - your reply. Yep, that bridge is buuuurrrrnnneed and you might want to dole out sunglasses for the onlookers, because it's burning HARD.

Summer plans: long weekends. bikes. sunshine.

I need to start planning a late summer/fall adventure. also some of my running peoples want to run this marathon up Grandfather Mountain and I might do it too, which sounds both awful and like a solid challenge.

an old acquaintance from high school finished 20th in the Boston Marathon today

that's like my whole life. there's a tarp and a bucket on my attic floor instead of fixing a roof leak. I open up the toilet tank weekly to jiggle things so it stops flushing itself all the time. I have sliced open the bathroom floor and basement carpet to look underneath at potential water problems but one I sealed back with packing tape and the other I ignore.

this was way more fun when yall were like "you're sorta okay and your friends is kinda lame here."

You do you. I just remember when I thought seeing a counselor was for other people too. If I had kept to that path I'd be dead right now.

We're going to Emerald Isle in late June with my fam. And Jersey Shore with the in-laws in mid-August. I don't think we have any travel plans between those currently though.

three email subjects in a row in my filtered "lists" folder that made me laugh for no good reason:
Got series points?
Got Leftover Ham?
You Finished Bossypants. What's next?

Leebs is gonna be proud. I'm down to two bills. Student loan $293 and Spectrum. And I even just noticed I've been charged for 2 modems for 4 years so gonna get a sweet credit. And I may even downgrade cause I prolly don't need ultimate 200 internet speed. $20/off month ftw.

Absent extravagant expenses, I can basically save my entire salary
