Fallout 4 Mafia Game Thread: CIVS WIN

This is the 2nd game where the totally no game impact role (last time was songs, this time articles) ended up impacting the game accidentally, which I find funny. RSF did a great job modding, great game, just funny that it was the same mechanic out of like 100000000000 that was whoopsed both times. And that I was mafia both times and almost died both times because I didn't angle shoot.
 
If it hadn't been for the Institute committing ritualistic suicide in a single night, or for me accidentally killing dv7 (which I don't think BoS knows about yet, so... sorry about that), things would've probably turned out differently.

That was me. We still were worried about watchers and protection at that point, and I was pissed that Tejas chose you guys instead of us. By knocking you both out, you didn't really get to win anyway.
 
I felt really bad when I fucked up the game. My bad RSF.

I think I was just overwhelmed when I saw there were like 8 pages already on Monday morning and tried to speedread as much as possible and missed a shitload of the OP.

That was so, so bad. Ragerts? I've had a few.

any other mechanic that was "claimed" in this game happened because people were discussing their actual roles

the framing mechanic was redwing speculating on why his alleged mason teammate came up maf, with no actual knowledge of such a role. like, consider the source, pls.

I wish I had any ideas. It's pretty terrible. IT would have been lame to AA Loki at the end but that's an AA in pretty much any book. We were got though, wouldn't want a ref win.

In the last fallout game, which was also super complex and difficult to run, there was a messenger role that could send out song links like how TIC sent articles. It was just a goofy role that didn't really do anything other than add night actions. I was maf watcher and watched someone that received the messages, but they werent counted as visits at first and I was almost outed because the person I was watching (eagles) was receiving messages. So RSF had to do a mod post about it and send me visitation reports after the fact...but I was run up pretty quick in the interim and quite TRIGGERED

I think I mentioned this in deadchat yesterday.

My big fuckup this game actually happened N2. Rommy shot DV7, and was "boosted" by Knight. Rommy was RB'd by DV7, which Knight's boost canceled out. But Rommy was also jailed by Manning, which shouldn't have been canceled out by Knight's boost.

That's why in Knight's role, the line about "double RBs still going through" is struckthrough.

If I AA Loki there, civs win instantly just on the basis of the role reveal.

My bad on this. I had to run to a meeting right at 4:30 and was trying to pull up the Chatzy on my phone to send orders to you, but I forgot that you had sent me the link in a PM to the masons chatzy, so when I opened the PM's on my phone that was the first link.

I immediately left, but clearly the damage was done.

Sorrrrrrrrrry.
 
I felt so bad about my dumbtell that I purposely tried to stay away and make myself look more suspicious to counter-balance for mafia.

It kind of worked because some people still thought I was maf at the end.

I think I should feel insulted by this? I don't think anyone really bought it, but maybe they would have considered the source and said, "Hey, that redwing guy knows a thing or two. Maybe he has a point."

Lol. I actually remembered this during this game. It's why I maf leaned you over rommy and jtp cause I was like there's no way that's happening again. Turns out it happened again
