Official WFU / SU Game Thread

I am just so goddamned tired of losing games this way. The season just started and it already feels like anotherinevitable grind of giving away games we have no fucking business losing.

yeah, it pretty much went according to script.

I really do hope my fiance gets a job elsewhere and we move now. maybe I can just ignore wake sports for a good long while and break this cycle.
 
Props to ESPN3 on my X-Box for trying to spare me the misery of overtime by switching to the Idaho game at the end of regulation. But my yearning for misery will not be denied.
 
Well, one piece of good news is that we are back to running the ball successfully and the O-line doesn't kill drives anymore with repeated holding calls. NOT!!!
 
Underutilized Harris again. The last drive of regulation should have been all Harris.

Been going on for 10 years. won't stop now. Lobo is a terrible coach. I blame him. LOL.
 
Was Price really jumping on his injured leg on the sidelines for the staff? Hopefully just a hyper-extension, but I fear the worst.
 
I still fucking can't believe that he ran the fucking clock out in a tie fucking game. He did not even fucking try. Dammit.
 
Which is worse: getting blown out wire to wire or this tortured collapse?

Apparently we do. I got neg rep anonomysouly for wondering how the sunshine brigade would spin this one.

It doesn't make you a bad fan to realize when momentum has completely turned against your team. If you recognize it when it happens, it probably means you watch your team way too much.
 
I am not a sunshiner. But I won't stop watching Wake because we lost, or a coach sucks or bad calls.

This. My thoughts exactly. Harris almost breaks one off and we go to 3 consecutive Stachitis passing plays?

WTF? Our coaching staff pisses me the fuck off. I'm sure if Skinner or Price were out there we would be conservatively running the ball every play. Stachitis can't pass the ball worth half a shit, might as well pull out your best running plays and see what happens once you reach midfield.
