He is like an H and M version of Aziz.
Looks the part but Is made of shitty material
Also, just saying "I'm brown in America, LOL" over and over isn't funny. Aziz did it by telling good stories and had the SC thing to add emphasis. This kid seems to have no strife and just gets around by saying poor mans Aziz stories.

no it's really funny, and also does a nice job addressing adult problems.
 
Mastermind is decently funny. Galafaniakkkas is really mastered the weird small town effeminate redneck loser, and its kinda lame sometimes, but it works here.
 
Protocol question for the group - when you see a movie on Netflix that you'd like to comment on, should it go here or on the movie thread? I get the sense this thread has sort of morphed into being more about original program on various streaming services, not just Netflix.

Regardless, if after watching Snowpiercer you thought "good, but could have used zombies" then Train to Busan is for you. I don't even care for zombie flicks but this was an exception.
 
So GLOW came out today. I know there are some Alison Brie fans out there. I have only seen clips but there are at least two reasons why you want to check it out

I'm definitely checking it out. I've been big into her since she first showed up on Mad Men.

I remember watching GLOW back in the day as well.

the new season of orange is the new black is terrible. I've really liked that show but it is totally off the rails now.

Wife just had us watch episode one. I came to put up the #MouseyBatsignal for ph. I did not expect to see what we saw.

I've watched two episodes of GLOW and I really like it so far. Just finished a new documentary "They Call Us Monsters" that follows 4 juvenile prisoners, some facing life sentences, writing a screen play. It's very good and fairly even handed, analysing their crimes and interviewing their victims as well.
 
House of Cards is a fucking mess. Complete hate watch for me now. Wife still enjoys it enough that it stays in the rotation, and we don't have much else right now. But holy shit does the show suck compared to season 1... Steady decline from then.

Also just finished S1 of The Crown... Was just OK. Well-written and visually impressive... But the conflicts aren't as grand in scale as they seem to want you to think they are.

I gave up after Season 2. What a genuinely bad show that became.
