Big Brother

Yeah, Steve and John needed to knock out that vapid twin instead of Meg. Those two, Vanessa, Meg, and James could have done damage and they could have had Vanessa as the meat sheild. Idiots. Playing for 4th place all of them.
 
Dammit Vanessa should be in F2. I don't really like Steve but he should win.
 
Steve is a terrible winner. Such a dork and so, so soft. But, Liz basically said that she was only there bc of her alliances and someone had to win.
 
Miserable season, but at least Vanessa didn't win.

The few players that were intelligent got eliminated early on. The likeable players were largely idiots.

On the plus side, Survivor looks like it should be excellent this season.
 
Liz's answers were soooo bad. Reminded me of when that Yankeeface chick from a few seasons back made the finals.
 
Kills me that these people have all kinds of time to come up with a good, relevant, helpful speech and yet it NEVER HAPPENS.

The only time I can remember being truly impressed by the speech and question-answering on a show like this was w/ John Cochran on Survivor.

On a show like Big Brother, if you have good things to say, you can probably sway some jury members. But it very rarely works that way. People are morons.
 
Especially when the questions are virtually identical season to season.
 
Bump because no self respecting people in my real life watch this show so I'll post it here

Could they have found a stupider group of people? Where did they find all these basket case dudes that can't stop crying? The girls are all basically wastes of space with no brain. Finally Jessica proves she can think and her piece of shit ride or die talks her out of thinking.

Really though, Cody has to be the least likable person I've ever seen on tv.
 
I didn't watch last year, but I'm (somewhat) ashamed to admit I dove back in this season. It does never cease to amaze me how they can recruit such dumb people to be on this show, but I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised given the state of the country.

Quick thoughts (haven't watched last night's yet)
I'm back on board with Cody. He was dumb at the beginning, but basically got screwed by CBS having it's hand in always manipulating the game (giving Paul the protection - if that doesn't happen and Paul gets voted out Week 1 Cody is in the driver's seat). So then it was only fair CBS basically rigged the battle back games so that Cody would win, then coupled with Cody and Jessica having some protection it sets up the next couple of weeks to be ok (hopefully)

So I obviously disagree with Cody being terrible - it is ABSOLUTELY Josh who might be the most unlikable person they've ever had in the game. He really does act like a grown up child all the time, fluctuating between being a bully and a weeping loser

Don't like it when they bring back people that have been on the show before and mix them with new people - particularly when it's obvious Paul is about 50 IQ points higher than pretty much everyone else in the house

If Cody goes back out and it's just these lemmings following Paul and he ultimately wins it would be a major disappointment

Show is always better at the beginning of the season anyway because at the end it becomes more about who wins the games and that just isn't very interesting
 
You could tell me Josh murdered someone in a fit of rage and tell me Cody had carefully slaughtered 5 hookers and had their skin hanging in his closet and I'd believe both.
 
LOL yea I'd agree with most everything both of you said. Except that I just hate Cody personally - however I think it's a good thing that he's back.

Paul dominating the game for two months by basically sleepwalking would just be the most boring thing ever.

Josh is mentally ill. But he's growing on me because it's just so much fun to watch him be so crazy.

Wednesday's episode was frustrating as hell. Hard to watch the stupidity.

True on Josh. He is entertaining at least. The people who get you to yell at the screen really are the best for the show I guess. Although it is true what Paul said about Cody: Josh really is the only one who gets under his skin - but damn it'd be hard to not react to what that guy says.
 
so pissed hoh didnt use veto last night. yeah i mean game was rigged to make sure paul and cody stick around for a while.
 
i also lost a bit of respect for the military when the navy interrogator was crying the first week and basically quit.
 
Josh is crazy, stupid, and can't control his emotions = Terrible player BUT great TV!

Cody is a full-blown sociopath! It might be the funniest thing I've seen on the show in years. Him talking about how he's faking being more expressive was serial killer level stuff. We haven't seen a sociopath on one of these shows since Brian Heidik back in Survivor: Thailand. His nomination speech when he was HOH ("Megan, I just don't like you.") just killed me.

Reddit outed Jess as a high dollar escort, so it's pretty funny that Cody thinks she's too good to be true.

I really hope someone goes after Paul soon, he's cruising through this game. I'm done with #Friendship.

I like Jess. I enjoy Cody. I hate Paul. I'm ok with Alex and Matt. Kevin is hilarious. I can tolerate WhistleNut. Good group, but weird group... Blows that the guys all paired off with annoying girls (Raven and Elena suck).
