As Ph, mentioned, he was -19. Not a be all, end all stat, but certainly not good.

Collins vs. Smith was fun last night, both looked like they are going to be very good.

Smith IMO proved in one game that the questions of his "heart" and ability to get others involved were as dumb as I thought they were going into the the draft. Not his fault he had a bum as a coach with no guidance or chance to do anything in college. His vision and passing ability were great last night, should have had around 15+ assist last night if Dirk and Barnes had shot at a normal clip. Got guys wide open looks all night. Youngest player ever with a points/assist double/double in their debut.
 
Completely missed the -19 in ph's post. Was multitasking and every time I looked up I caught him doing something nice. Steal, block, bucket. Missed the bad stuff.
 
KAT was 0 and the other starters were -17 or -19. I don't remember who was in late. Pretty sure Wiggins was at least.

Funny story about why Teague chose the T-Wolves. He played as the T-Wolves in 2k. When they got Butler, he asked his agent to get him on the roster. But he doesn't play 2k18 because he doesn't like his player rating.

Rathbun and Nique kept ragging on DSJ early. I skipped around after the Spurs game started. I guess he figured it out. Berea did Berea stuff off the bench.

If Okafor or Richaun plays instead of Amir or Stauskas/Justin Anderson plays for TLC tonight I like our chances to win this game going forward. This Sixers team won't consistently beat Boston or Cleveland or Toronto but I'm not sure there are many other Eastern teams that are significantly better.

Bayless suffers from Drew Gooden head unfortunately.

After two nights, the ROY award is going to be tight between Ben Simmons and ... Dillon Brooks. Think I will put my money on Simmons. Looks like Scottie Pippen

Barrea still has the shortest arms I have ever seen on an NBA player outside Mugsy. Unbelievable.
 
Didn't realize Sidney Lowe was an assistant in Washington now. The tenth team he's been either a player or coach for in the NBA.

Berea is going to be a good mentor for DSJ I have to think, just knows so much about being a good PG but he is still really limited obviously. DSJ lead Dallas last night with a +3 (Barea was -9 for comparison). The Smith explosiveness is just silly, the play when he blows by the Hawks defender and was met by Collins at the rim was a nice glimpse into the future I'd think.

Lonzo is going to have to cash a few checks his dad issued. A lot of guys are going run at Lonzo and remind him what LeVar said.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Steph school Lonzo over and over and over again. Luke better not put Lonzo on Russ. That could get really ugly.
 
Somebody should knock Beverly the fuck out. He is the dirtiest player in the NBA by a wide margin. Besides the BS foul on Ball early in the game, Beverly tried that cheap ass shit attacking a guy who is calling a TO like he did when injured Westbrook in the playoffs.

I wish they could bring back Oak or Mahorn or someone to take Beverly's punkass out.
