NFL Offseason Thread: 2018 NFL Draft

Does the NFC South produce three playoff teams?

Saints (8-2) finish @Rams, Panthers, @Falcons, Jets, Falcons, Bucs

Panthers (7-3) finish @Jets, @Saints, Vikings, Packers, Bucs, @Falcons

Falcons (6-4 if results hold) finish Bucs, Vikings, @Saints, @Bucs, Saints, Panthers

I see NO at 11-5, Carolina at 10-6, and Atlanta at 9-7 at the very least if results hold.

Possibly. I thought it was very possible the entire division could finish with 8 or 9+ wins. The Bucs didn't show up to the party.

One of these days they'll actually make the leap people predict them to every year

I have no doubt that Wilson is about to shred this Falcons team

That fake FG at the end of the 2nd was one of the dumbest calls I've seen in awhile.

I can see it. The realistic threats for the wild-card slots are Detroit, or Seattle/LAR (whoever doesn't win the division). The Lions schedule is somewhat soft, but the West teams play each other, the Eagles, and either Jags/Saints.

Seattle was hurt by challenging the Baldwin incompletion that cost them a timeout they could have used to move the ball closer.

They also blew a lot of time with a couple of short plays in the middle of the field. And got really lucky that an ATL player got hurt with 23 seconds or whatever left and the clock rolling.

Seahawks are probably done without Sherman and Chancellor (and zero running game), so the door is open for the South to get three teams in. As you noted, the Lions can sneak in on the heels of an easy schedule like they did last year and then get throttled by one of LA/NO/MN.

Really sad stuff. Guy lived the ultimate childhood dream. Lived in Columbus, walked-on at tOSU, became a star, and had a great NFL career. RIP.

Got called a girl by Bill Parcells.

ETA: 2&2 beat me to it. Sucks for him that's the main thing he's remembered for.

When Terry Glenn was in high school he took three consecutive first quarter punts to the house. After that, I assume that they stopped kicking to him.
